Here are a few examples of our work over the years

These have all started out as Visions, Dreams and Ideas, It’s our goal in life is to create environments that can ease the stresses of this whirlwind which is life, letting the therapeutic benefits that a relaxing harmonious setting, can bring. A Garden also needs to be practical, sensibly planned, making the maintenance of a garden less time consuming, enabling the few moments of respite from every day life enjoyable and something to look forward too.

It should also be a place where you can entertain friends and family with a wow factor, why not add a Pizza Oven or Tandoor, where you can be creative and adventurous, and treat those close to you with bone-fide Pizza or Tandoori Chicken?!

We Spend loads on holidays as well earned breaks for a few days or weeks, but most of our time is spent at home and work, So it makes sense to make your every day environment precious and enjoyable.

Give us a call, we can make it happen for you.

If you are looking for something different,

you have come to the right place Like you we like to be individual

Is the one Referenced in the following "Quote”.

The wall was built using lime mortar, and up-cycled stone that we found buried in the back garden when we landscaped it a year or so before.

We never throw stone away as it always comes in very handy, especially stone indigenous to the area.
After submitting a scaled 3D picture of before and after,It took over a year for South Hams to agree to it, requesting scaled drawings of how the steps for access to the front door would work.

A wall is a wall is it not! And steps are steps!?

In the meantime the cottage was extremely prone to flooding. What is wrong with these bureaucrats, dragging their heels whilst Lording it over you and I.

  • Landscaped Garden in Vapron Road Plymouth, Devon, UK
  • Cornish Granite setts are used here for Margarets Driveway
  • French Oak Sleepers are used to create the raised beds

The slideshow above

Are for a property in Vapron Road Plymouth, for Margaret B. The work was carried out around 2006 This was an interesting job where French Oak Sleepers were used for the raised beds, with granite setts from Cornwall were used to provide a mowing strip.

The front apron and driveway was finished with Granite Setts from the Local Granite King, Dennis Perry, Locally sourced they originated from Cornwall and have a much warmer finish than the Granite from China, which seems be a silver grey colour, whereas the Portuguese granite is a pleasing blue grey colour

The work carried out by the team at Derna was completely to our satisfaction and I was amazed at the work rate and professionalism applied to the project.
